成人AV Marks National Day of Racial Healing
On Tuesday Jan. 17, the 成人AV and the Iliff School of Theology will help observe the first-ever National Day of Racial Healing.
The Association of American Colleges and Universities is collaborating with the W.K. Kellogg Foundation and more than 130 organizations across the country to commemorate the day. It comes in response to the broad call for racial healing following the contentious rhetoric, hate crimes and vivid expressions of racism. Calls for healing have come from both President Barack Obama and President-elect Donald Trump.
成人AV鈥檚 Office of Diversity and Inclusion and the Iliff School of Theology are inviting students, faculty and staff to honor the day by engaging in a 鈥淟et鈥檚 Communicate to Activate鈥 conversation. The event will be held from 4:30 p.m. 鈥 6 p.m. in room 1150 of the Si茅听Complex and will focus on what can be done individually and collectively to promote greater understanding and racial healing. Refreshments will be provided.
